Placing an order

When you place an order through this site, you are making an offer to buy. We accept that offer when we send you an order confirmation email. A contract is formed at that point under English law.

We may decline an order if a product is out of stock, the price was wrong, or we cannot ship to your address. If we decline, we will refund any payment in full.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.

We accept payment via Stripe (cards and supported wallets). Your card is charged when you confirm the order.

Delivery

Physical orders ship via Royal Mail Tracked 48 unless otherwise selected at checkout. Estimated delivery is 2 to 3 working days from dispatch within the UK. We will email you a tracking link as soon as your order leaves us.

If your order has not arrived after 10 working days from dispatch, contact us and we will help you trace it or arrange a replacement.

We currently ship to the UK only.

Digital downloads

Digital products (STL files, firmware, plans) are made available immediately after payment via a signed download link. Each link is valid for the download limit and expiry shown on the product. By downloading, you agree not to redistribute the files.

Cancellations and returns

You have 14 days from the date you receive your order to cancel and return any unused physical product, under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.

To cancel, email hello@makerplex.co.uk with your order number. Return the item to us in its original condition. We will refund the price of the item within 14 days of receiving it. The cost of return shipping is yours unless the item arrived faulty or incorrect.

Digital downloads are non-refundable once the file has been downloaded, except where the file is faulty.

Faulty or incorrect items

If your order arrives damaged or wrong, contact us within 14 days and we will replace, refund, or repair it at no extra cost.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise our total liability for any order is limited to the price of that order.

We are not responsible for delays caused by Royal Mail, payment processors, or other circumstances outside our control.

Your account

If you create an account, keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend an account that abuses the service or violates these terms.

Intellectual property

All site content, product descriptions, photography, and digital files are owned by Smart Innovate Ltd or licensed to us. You may not copy or redistribute them without permission.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. The version that applies to your order is the version live on the site at the time you placed it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
